Abstract

<p style="text-align:justify">As institutions established to train the teachers to be, faculties of education play an important part in the enrichment of a country's cultural life. Our university and Hasan Ali Y?cel aculty of ducation, located in ?stanbul, are basic construction Stones in the shaping of cultural relationships both between regions and between continents, and have been so far many decades. In this study, a group of 2.851 students who have chosen the teaching profession have been taken up, with statistical data of students' choices, according to places of birth such as from foreign countries, from various regions within the country, from urban centers and from rural areas.</p>
