Abstract

<p style="text-align: justify;"><span style="font-size:12.6px">This study aims to determine the effect of cooperation with the business world within the concept of?<span>differentiated educational programs prepared for the gifted and talented students to their vocational perceptions and career planning.?</span></span><span style="font-size:12.6px">The research sample consists of 25 students who continue their education during the period of 2013-2014 Academic Year Special Skills Development Program (OYGP) in Yasemin Karakaya Science and Art Center. This research is a qualitative research designed according to the case study approach. Qualitative research is a research design in which data collection methods such as observation, interview and document analysis are used and a process in which perceptions and events are?</span><span style="font-size:12.6px"><span>put?</span></span><span style="font-size:12.6px">forward</span><span style="font-size:12.6px">?in a realistic and holistic way in a natural environment (Y?ld?r?m and ?im?ek, 2005).Data collection tools were semi-structured interview form comprised of open-ended questions and informal observations. According to the data obtained from the qualitative interviews conducted with the participants during and after this process, it was seen that the students get a positive attitude towards the field and mentioned professions came into prominence in their career planning</span><span style="font-size:12pt">.</span></p>
