Abstract

<p style="text-align:justify">This study aims to look at the Turkish oreign language ducation in the light of principles behind the Common uropean ramework for Languages. In the expanding uropean Union, development of foreign language policies cannot be separated from social policies. That is, with foreign language education policy development the U lays the foundation of a democratic, plurilingual and socially and culturally aware society. The study looks at the concept ofplurilingualism and its place at present in the life of citizens of the U countries.</p>
