Abstract

<p style="text-align:justify">The purpose of this study was to examine the primary fourth grade students? views about empathy and present how they perceive empathy. Research was conducted in Da?dere town, belonings to Akhisar, one of the districts of Manisa in 2012-2013 academic year. Da?dere Primary School's 37 forth class students in this town generate this study's working group. The research data were obtained with an interview consisting of semi-structured openended questions. xpert opinions have been obtained and the necessary arrangements have been made about the form on which students give opinion verbally. The qualitative data obtained from the students? views about this form were resolved by means of descriptive analysis. Codes were created in the process of data analysis and frequencies and percentages of data obtained through qualitative analysis were found. Codes were given in research findings and appropriate student views to these codes have been used to support the findings. Consequently, the students haven't created due to development process and their parent's feature a variety of (financial status, educational level etc.), but this concept improved after their teacher's teaching.</p>
